Hi, I'm Wouter, the photographer behind Wou.Pics.
I picked up a camera after moving from Belgium to Barcelona during Covid. The streets were empty, and photography became my way of getting to know a new city. That passion stuck. The corporate job I had at the time never did.
When I was let go in a general dismissal, I didn't see it as a setback. I saw it as my chance. No more excuses, no more putting it off.
Now I photograph corporate events, couples, portraits and the kind of city moments that are gone before you know it. I work in Dutch, English and Spanish, and my approach is simple: no fake smiles, no stiff poses, just real moments captured up close.
